Cast Iron Floor for Pig Farming Equipment
Cast Iron Floor has been widely used in Pig Farming Industry for many years, as an important component in Pig Farming Equipment, it give pigs a strong and safe floor for sow and pigs in flatten finishing period.
Our cast iron floor was designed in a slat structure, with smooth and round section of slat and removing burrs carefully after casting, it is well solved the issues of pig feet jammed and sow nipple injured which is usually happened in pig farming. Meanwhile, the round section with circular surface could help for residue leaking and make the cleaning much easier, giving pigs a clean and comfortable living conditions.
Our cast iron floor was made by ductile iron with grade QT450-10, which has high tensile strength and elongation to ensure the floor having good performance on load capacity and durability and heat conservation in pig farming equipment.
Painted surface resists the corrosion for a long service life, other surface treatment is also available as special requirements.

That depends on your pig farms for what, if your pig farm is for sow and piglets, cast iron or steel grating floor should be used in the area of sow and plastic slat floor for piglets. Most of the time, plastic slat floor also used for weaner stalls. If your farm is mainly for pig fatten finishing, especially for group stalls, we suggest to use steel grating floor which is much easier for leaning and management, of course casting iron floor or even concrete floor could be used considering of economic reason.
